PISS BREASTS
40x20x20 cm, resin, polystyrene, plastic, urine, magnifying glass, 2024
Piss Breasts is a multimedia artwork critiquing the fetishization and commodification of the female form. Urine evokes intimacy and discomfort, while resin preserves and objectifies. Shrinky Dinks, warped by heat, symbolize the pressure to conform. Drawings based on an ex-partner’s photos add a voyeuristic layer, exploring vulnerability and the gaze.

FRACTURED VESSEL
40 x 30 cm, lace bra, eggshells, egg whites, 2025
Fractured Vessel examines the fragility of protection and the tension between concealment and exposure. Using eggshells and a lace bra, objects that protect in vastly different ways, their functions are deconstructed, leaving room to explore how identity is shaped and constrained. Eggshells, once containing life, contrast with the bra, which sculpts the body for societal and personal consumption. The work emphasizes the impermanence of protection and the instability of self-perception through dismantling, sewing, burning, and melting.
ADOLESCENT BAPTISM
Adolescent Baptism is a sculptural performance made from melted CDs and epoxy resin, exploring the collision of purity culture, media saturation, and adolescent identity. Wearing white, I cradle the glimmering, fractured form and pour water and oil over its surface. What appears as a ritual cleansing instead amplifies rupture, shame clings, leaving permanent marks. The work reflects my upbringing in the Mormon church, where notions of purity, morality, and sexuality were inextricably bound to surveillance and spectacle. At once luminous and unsettling, the piece asks what it means to seek purification in a world where shame never washes away.
